Any plush toy. She immediately disembowels it, then carries the carcass around in her mouth for weeks. If she doesn't have a plush carcass to tote, any sock (preferably dirty) will do.
Favorite Food:
All of them.
Favorite Walk:
To the car, so she can hop in and take a ride, and back from the car, so she can lie down and take a nap.
Best Tricks:
She is a world-class snorer and can really rattle the window panes. She was first in her obedience class and is bright enough to learn anything you'd care to train her to do, so long as it doesn't involve much stamina. She's slowed down lately.
Arrival Story:
Bobbie came to us as a guide pup in training. The school bred her for temperament and intelligence, and she is a first-generation cross breed because they found that the crosses have less hip dysplasia.
We raised, socialized, and trained her for nearly two years, then returned her to the school for advanced training and placement with a blind person. Unfortunately for them, but luckily for us, her x-rays showed a mild hip dysplasia which disqualified her for the program, so we were given the first opportunity to adopt her. She is such a wonderful girl, and we loved her so much, that of course we went straight back to the school and got her and brought her home. Now she's a wonderful pet. She has that precious retriever personality and just loves everyone.
