we have a really long walkway that leads out the side porch of the house to our curb, I call it Hannah's runway. She walks her runway to the end everyday like the beauty queen she is, than lays down at the end of it to sun herself

Arrival Story:
Hannah was a rescue. She belonged to an elderly couple that just werent able to care for her. The first time I saw her she was just wandering around their yard, her hair was so long and matted that you couldnt even tell there was a dog underneath it all. I picked her up regardless of all the dirt and how bad she smelled and hugged her close to me, when I did she pressed her cheek against mine and just snuggled me, I knew I had found my best friend.
Bio:
Once getting Hannah home, I groomed her and made her all pretty, but as the days went by of us getting to know each other I noticed a odor about her and no matter what I did I couldnt clear it up, so I took her to the vet and she ran several test on her. Hannah was diagnosed with red mange caused from neglect. I was devastated, thinking that I was about to lose her when I had just found her (and of course I was attached from the first huggle we had). However the vet assured me that since she was spayed and heartworm free there was a cure. So after the treatment period she is now healthy and beautiful. She has been thru alot with me, a divorce, we have moved about 5 times in as many years,we have watched my kids grow up and get lives of their own, shared the arrival of the grandkids, been together for all the ups and downs that life throws at us, she sleeps at the foot of my bed and just snuffs at me a bit every morning when I get up to go to work as if to say "you may have to get up this early, but I certainly dont have too" . She is now 14 years old, and I call her my old woman, she is the matriarch of the house/family, my bestest friend in the whole wide world.

My Daddy is sad and he cries cause his grandmama went to heaven. I have been stayin real close to him so that I can give him as much comfort as I have in my lil ole self to give to him, just like he does for me when I dont feel good. Tink is takin care of the Debbie, I take care of the Daddy so we got it covered on both ends.....what evahhh would they do without us girls.
Its really sad to see them suffer like they are, but I try to tell daddy that Bear (his Rottie) and Mystic (that crazy black cat) are there playin with Nanna, and just havin a good ole time with her, and I think he knows all that but he is just missin her.
Im gonna go snuggle in my Daddy's lap and give him some more comfort while I nap.....I am soooo good at multi taskin.

its been pretty quiet around here this week, except for me and Tink goin and gettin our hair done. Tink got to meet Lynn the really nice lady that has been doin my hair for several years now, and Lynn thought Tink was as sweet as me, and she told mama she really admired her for taken care of us girls like she does. I admire the mama too...nods nods.
I havent been doin to much the last few day, mostly nappin on my Daddy's lap. He has the snugguliest lap in the whole wide world. Tink would rather be in mommy's lap but thats ok cause it free's up Daddy's for me. Every now and again me and Tink trade up laps cause we both need mommy and daddy loves.
Mommy says Easter isnt far off, and that she is gonna have to get all the stuff to make up the Easter baskets for my two legged neices and nephews. Tink is in for a treat cause on special days all them little people show up here at one time with my two legged sisters, they say they are their children but gawd are they loud...and one of them mommy calls "the screamer" cause she screams at the top of her lungs when she dont get her way. (snuffs) she could use some lessons from me about that...you dont have to scream to get what you want, but she is only 1 year old and was born on All Hallows Eve so I think that is the reason she is like she is....hopefully she will grow out of it.
Anyway me and Tink are gonna get to be dressed up in the pretty matchin dresses that Tinks Gale sent here with her, mommy has been savin them for our Easter dresses. As usual we will be the diva girls on the block, struttin our stuff on the runway in front of the house.
