ANOTHER Surgery!

On Monday the 9th of April I will be going in to my Regular Vet to have a little 'tag' removed from lower eyelid. The reason for this is I keep getting eye infections from rubbing my eye. My wonderful Vet think this is the reason.
So, " UNDER THE KNIFE" I go. That is what my mom said. I don't understand what that means???? I like going to the Vet Place because I am a happy boy all the time and I get treats when I go there.

I'm BACK!!!!!

Well...The Surgery went SO well that I got to come home from The Northwest Veterinary Specialists Hospital in Oregon A DAY EARLY...cuz I am a CALM BOY! My Back is Fixed Now! Yipppeee! Now, in a couple of weeks, with lots of rest and no stairs or running or much of ANYTHING...I can get back to normal!

More Back Surgery..Tomorrow..10/30/2006

Wish me Luck..Pup Pals...I am off to Oregon first thing in the AM...
Mom is scared...I think it will be fine..WOOF!! I am just mad because I
get no more food or WATER after midnight...and because of my MEDS...I need my water. That darn Prednisone makes me THIRSTY..
I have to have MORE surgery on another spot in my Cervical area that blew out..thats what mom says. I just got back from that darn hospital after ANOTHER MRI...YUCK...they 'put me out' for that! Now back AGAIN? I just don't get it! Mom says it is necessary...so as the old saying goes.." Mother knows best!" I will be happy to get back to normal, I am tired of falling down and being in pain...no fun...

Back To the Hospital in Oregon!

Wow...I Started feeling really Bad on Saturday ...and mom and dad were watching me closely...I was dropping my head and not looking up very much.
SO, on Sunday...my Mommy called the Emergency Vet Clinic in Oregon, which is a 2.5 hour drive, and decided to take me in. One of the main reasons was...I would not eat my TREAT!! That is unheard of for ME!! I live for my Food! My neck was hurting real bad, too. Since I had surgery on two discs...and 4 were actually involved...I went back in for re-evaluation.
Now, I am home on on Lots of medication. I have a few weeks to try and get my pain managed...then back in for, most likely, another MRI...and we think another Surgery...I do NOT like that thought...but, what has to be done...will be done! Sign off for now...I am sleepy...I just had some Codeine..

I had Back Surgery!

Everything went very well and I got to come home a day early.
That is because I am such a calm boy!
Unfortunately, when they did my MRI they found a MASS on my
Adrenal Gland...so, my mom and dad decided to do my back surgery first.
Now, in a couple of months..I get to go see the NICE people at the Hospital
in Oregon again. Woof...
I am a Happy Boy again..

Going on a Little Trip!

Well Dogster Pals...I am leaving on Monday the 24th..for a little trip to Oregon! Mom says it will be fun! I get to see Dr. Kroll at NW Vet Specialists Hospital. You see, I have been having some trouble lately ...stumbling and falling down..some weakness in my right side! My mom has had me on these pills (steroids) that she thinks that I don't see her slip in my treats, but, I DO...and I love my treats! I just hate falling down. It makes me real mad. My mom is pretty worried and my dad, too. Dr. Castle did LOTS of tests and decided that since my tests were good that I have to see and Neuro specialist in Oregon. Boy! I love go Bye Bye in the Car...Yippppeee! My Mom and I will keep you ALL updated on my progress...cuz we think it will all be GREAT!!

Uh Oh!

Well, I got in trouble...because My Dad (my fav) took me for a ride in the Corvette...and we went to the Grocery Store. He left me in the car for a few minutes..and I had to go Poop...so, I went on the floor mat. Dad was not very pleased with me. It did stink pretty bad ( I could hardly stand it myself). I am kinda on restriction from the Vette Rides now. He will soften up, I am sure because I usually get to drive and so I am his Chick Magnet..
Sorry, Dad! You really should potty me before I go on rides in your Corvette.
