Max, 8th Wonder of the World

my friend

so oscar is gone. i am not eating as well as i used to, but everyone has been keeping me busy running and finding the ball. i was slightly smothered the first few days after oscar passed, but i'm getting used to that now. mom is sad, i can tell, and i try to love on her as much as possible. when my sisters come over, i just let them rub my belly for as long as they want. they like that.

we're all trying to get adjusted to a quieter house........

The Doctor

Mom took me to Cincinnati today to see Dr. Ketring about my eyes. I was running too hard and got too excited, got disoriented and ran smack into something. I have an abrasion on my eye and it's not pleasant, but I'm dealing the best I can. I try to rub it, but mom doesn't like it when I do that.....I may have to put that big collar thing on if I can't quit. :( I did, however, get a Wendy's jr bacon cheeseburger out of the deal. Oscar was soooo jealous!

I need a gas mask

Since Oscar is sleeping in the living room, I have escaped into mom's room. He is deadly with that gas, and since I can't see him, I think maybe my sense of smell is going into overdrive. Fantastic. :p

Otherwise, it's a good lazy day here at home. The weather's not too bad, the bed is warm, and the food is good. Gotta find that ball soon, though..........
