Coco disappeared. Mom cried a lot; everyone did.

I didn't. I was oblivious. I really didn't notice the difference except everyone was really sad.

Then, a few weeks later, the family brings home a box. A box that was moving and whimpering. They open the box... and out pops.... a puppy!!!

I couldn't believe it. Are you kidding me? After all this crying and sadness - you bring home ANOTHER dog????

and this dog does NOT give up. He's always nipping at me, wanting to play, chasing me around the yard and house. I try to growl at him and show my teeth, but he does not stop.

But, I think I can dominate him. Maybe.

Well, that female pack member has returned.
Mom told me we were going to have a surprise and we went for a car ride. well - we went to a Petco but mom wouldn't go in. She said they weren't open yet because it was REALLY early - I didn't have breakfast yet - and we waited and waited and waited. Mom let me go out a bathroom break, then back to the car and waited and waited and waited. Finally, this big bus came into the parking lot and all these people were there. I sniffed everyone! Mom finally said - there she is - WHO??? I was sniffing everyone and didn't recognize anyone! Mom said - that's your human sister. What? Who?? This "sister" has been gone for a while, but mom said she was one of us.
So I let her in the car and we came home. Yeah, I guess she's one of our pack.
I seem to remember this pack member always had chocolate and candy around her. Oh - NOW I remember!!!

Woof everydog!
It's been a while since I wrote, but nothing big deal has been going on. I'm still the "favorite" dog though!
Just hanging out on human brother's bed most of the time. I feel SO lazy!!! All I do is eat sleep and poop! Mostly inside for all three!!!
I've finally learned how to get back at Coco for not letting me play. When I'm "in the mood" I let the family know and they gather up Coco and restrain her while I chase the toy. I really don't want to play much, maybe chase the toy a couple of times - but my favorite game is to get the toy and then run over to Coco and drop it RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. This is while daddy is holding her so I'll play. This is so much fun! I love to taunt her like that! Serves her right, cause now she behaves better in the car and daddy takes her with us on our Sunday bagel runs.
We have "lost" a pack member. Not my favorite pack member, so I really don't care. The human sister disappeared a couple of months ago. I forget her name. She was mean to me sometimes. She wouldn't hit me or anything like that, she would just SMOTHER me (she said with love, I said with torture). Mom says she went to college. I don't know what that is, all I know is she is gone. So sometimes, I sneak into her room and pee on her floor!!! Payback!!! Mom says she calls and says she misses me and Coco.
I'm going to be a "bad dog" for halloween. I'll be wearing prison stripes. I don't mind the outfit, but I hate the hat. Maybe I'll get chocolate........

ooooh my tummy hurts!

Ooooh, my tummy hurts! I got into chocolate again! I've stolen chocolate about 5 or 6 times and every time my tummy hurts afterwards, but I keep doing it. I've been scolded about it, mom says chocolate could poison me! Well, it feels like I have been poisoned but I can't resist it!!! Human brother hid some cookies in a dresser drawer. It's a really heavy drawer, but I managed to pull it open and get the bag of cookies, rip it open and eat all of them! I wouldn't even let Coco have any - I goobled them all up myself. Now my bed is all messy and I don't feel sooo good. The humans are amazed that i was able to open the drawer by myself! But i can't resist the smell and taste of chocolate.
The last time I got into chocolate was when grandma was visiting. She had her suitcase on the floor and had a wrapped up box of chocolates for a gift for someone (I thought it was for me). I proceeded to unzip her suitcase, get the box and ripped off all the wrappings. Then, I sampled each candy (well, it was called a sampler) and left all the little paper wrappings all over the place. I was sick for two days that time.
The humans are amazed that I can open drawers and suitcases! I am a wonder dog.
but my tummy still hurts.

Coco gets in trouble but it's not her fault

Bark all.
Unbelievable. Went to the groomers on Saturday - and they made us wait for like 8 hours!!! Mom was really upset - she even called (I heard the phone call) when it got later and later and the groomers said we wouldn't be ready for another 3 hours. I was furious - Coco & I were in the same cage/den, which is okay, but she would NOT shut up! yap yap, boo hoo, etc etc. She just wanted to be done and out of there already! By the time the groomer took us out to be washed/hosed off/etc., she was shaking. She was so upset that even I got upset for her! She was whimpering and couldn't stop shaking and crying and barking. Dad picked us up (finally) and the groomer basically told dad off. Now, dad is a really big guy and the groomer is a little shrimp but he was telling dad how bad Coco is, how they couldn't handle her and they were afraid she was going to have a heart attack right there! They didn't even groom her very well, because they made us wait so long and she was sick & tired of waiting. THEN - they told dad we better drug Coco next time we bring her in. Well, needless to say, mom said absolutely not. Coco does need some training, but drug her just to cut her hair??? Even I was mad. So, mommy said we're going to have the mobile groomer come to the house from now on. Sounds pretty cool to me.
Our human cousins are visiting and it's okay. More people to sleep on, but the little cousin keeps telling me to get off the couch - what's up with that???? AND - he doesn't like me staring at him while he eats his cheerios AND he doesn't give me any. I don't understand that behaviour at all!
So, dad is picking up dinner, so I must go wait at the door for him. Maybe with all these kids in the house someone will drop food on the floor. It's a dog's life for me.

Woof to all my pup pals!
Thank goodness mom is home - Dad said she went out with her girl friends - overnight!!! i was scared she wasn't going to come home and I was going to have to battle the human girl and Coco without her help! She always yells at Coco to quit bugging me. Dad said mom went on a winery tour - I don't know what that is, but she brought home a lot of presents - I wonder if any of them are for me - there's a lot of bottles.
Coco was really bad this week; she calls it playing - I call it torture. She was nipping at me and bit so darn hard she left a big cut on my shoulder! Jeez. i should just sit on her, but i'm way to passive and she acts like such a big baby, crying and whimpering - and she's the one who's biting!
And the stupid snow is still here. It's so cold out there and the snow is so deep - the snow is even taller than me! thank goodness the humans shoveled out a path in the back yard so I could go! But since I usually go on the patio or in the house it doesn't matter much. It is nice to see a little grass poking through, though.
I went for a ride this morning - stupid Coco almost strangled herself in the car playing with the window button - up and down, up and down. I didn't tell her about the magic window button, hoping to be the only dog again, but dad saved her. He was laughing so I guess she wasn't hurt too bad. Oh, I guess I would miss the little squirt if anything happened to her; i'm kinda used to her know. I just wish she would lighten up with the yapping and nipping and blitzing.
Mom is going to bed, she's pretty tired. She said the girls stayed up most of the night. I gotta go sleep with her, she can't sleep unless I'm right up beside her. So goodnight puppies!!!

Eat sleep poop

Woof all:
It's been a while since I wrote in my diary - I've been too busy eating, sleeping and pooping!! We got thru that howloween holiday okay - we got to sit in our dens barking at all the gholes & goblins. Then we got to have thanksgiving - wow - we got a LOT of food that day. I love turkey & potatoes & bread & all that stuff I'm not supposed to eat - dad dropped some food on the floor and I beat Coco to it! I can't beat her to the thrown toys, but toss down some food and I'm faster than her! ha ha ha.
I'm a little mad at Coco (again); she's been very feisty lately - always nipping at me (even though I'm the bigger dog); the other night she bit my head so hard, she took out some of my hair!!! I had a mohawk look going on with what little hair she left behind!
Not much else is new here - I was a little bored tonight so I pooped on the floor in front of mom and the human boy. Lots of yelling. I figure, they all left for work and school today and I was mad so I needed some attention! Boy, did I get it!!!
So, that's it for now - just eating, sleeping and pooping! Mom says that we're celebrating Christmakah and we'll get some presents if we're good.
It's almost time for daddy to come home, so I have to go to the door and whimper. I always know when his train is close by - I have to let everyone know so they'll start dinner already! I'm hungry!!!

the real poop doggie dog

I am NOT the poop doggie dog - I am the FAVORITE dog - Coco is really in trouble tonight - mom is even talking about sending her to doggie boot camp!! ha ha!!! She went outside after dinner - remember when she ate the bird??? Well, this time - she rolled around in dog poop!!! I mean - she is this little white fluff thing and looks all prissy and pampered and sweet and innocent - then she goes outside and rolls around in dog dooty!!!! She was COVERED in dooty!!!! I think it was mine, cause why would she roll around in her own???? Are there any dogs out there that can explain this to me???? She is just sooooo bizarre!!! We just went to the groomers - I look terrific - smell good and looking really sharp with the new cut - but coco can't stand it - I've tried to talk to her about this strange behaviour, but she can't or won't explain it!!!! Can any of you doggies out there explain this to me???
so, once again, we have to sleep in our cages tonight - why does Coco do this to me???? She gets into trouble and I have to suffer the indignity!!! Can some pup out there help me????

Well, I just got back from my vacation at the Doggie Hanoi Hilton (why does dad call it that???)- It was GREAT =2 (TWO) meals a day - a place I could sleep, eat and poop in - i was in Heaven - coco couldn't bug me - i had my own "room" - I repeat - TWO MEALS A DAY!! - wish the family would go away more often - I'm kind of tired - I had to bark hello and goodbye for three days at all the other dogs coming in and out of the "hotel"; I sort of missed my family - I was really happy when they came to pick me up, but I could have stayed at the hotel for a while longer....oh well, I got a bath (mom says they dont bathe me at the hotel - just hose me off and spray cologne on me!!) so mom says i can sleep in her bed - Coco is watching the Red Sox/Yankee game (she hates the Yankees) but i'm more interested in the human brother's gold fish... i dont care about baseball but I love food!!!! c'mon brother - drop one of those gold fish..... oh, brother is going to bed, so I need to go too - he can't sleep unless I;m there with him to protect him & cuddle him; oh well, gotta go to bed now - good night puppies!!

coco is my enemy

Man, that Coco - I can't believe her - we went outside this morning and she didn't come back - I, as usual, just pee on the patio and come back in - I hate that wet morning dew on my paws - anyway, mom called & called Coco and she didn't respond (that's what I usually do, never listen, but Coco does); when she didn't come back, mom got dressed to go look for her - and she finds Coco eating a dead bird!! YUCK!!! how gross is that??? It was pretty disgusting even for me to see! I mean, we're Bichons for Pete's sake - not labs or retrievers! Now mom is worried about diseases and if Coco gets me sick, i'll really be mad! Mom put Coco in her crate, and if Coco goes in, I have to go to my crate too, otherwise Coco just whines & barks at me. Great! Now I'm stuck too. And now Coco is whining and carrying on. Everyone is disgusted with her - I don't understand why she's crying so much - she did this to herself - I should be the one crying!!! Maybe mom'll let us out soon. I hope so.
