Arrival Story:
When my little sister was born - I had just turned 2 - my parents got me Gonzo. My sister had colic and cried constantly, taking most of their time at home, so I just sat around watching TV. They thought a dog would keep me more active - and they were right! Gonzo and I were best friends from the moment we met and I'm so thankful we grew up together.
Bio:
Gonzo passed away when he was 12. A large tumor developed in his pelvic region, and removal would have required breaking his arthritic hips, so he was put down after spending a wonderful, pain-free 24 hours with our family. He got to eat all his favorite foods and get tons of love and attention and went the happy, spoiled dog that he always was.

I found out about this through a friend of mine. A 12 year old yellow Lab/Sharpei mix weighing about 80 pounds was lost in Waco, TX on the Baylor campus early this afternoon. Due to the freezing weather and ice/rain mix that is now falling, it is becoming critical that we find him, if he has not already been picked up by someone. If you live in this area or know someone who does, PLEASE keep an eye out for him!! He is very sweet and answers to the name Hendrix, and has a collar on with that name. He just recently underwent surgery so part of the hair is shaved off of his neck. Thank you so much for your help!!! I will keep you updated!
