Birthday: August 15th 2001 Likes: Having my belly rubbed. Snuggling with mommie or daddy. But mommie is my favorite to snuggle. Pet-Peeves: I want to eat mommie's bird but she won't let me. Favorite Toy: Do you remember that PetSmart commercial and the minnie Doxie got that new caterpillar toy? Well that's it. Favorite Food: I love anything mommie or daddy are eating. That's my favorite food. Its called, "Theirs" Favorite Walk: Anyplace outdoors where I can smell stuff and track. Best Tricks: I can sit up and beg and nobody taught me. Also if I don't want to do something I roll on my back and wave my legs. This is a winner! Arrival Story: My name is Frankie. Mom was going to name me Francis or another girlie name, but I just looked like a Frankie so that's my name. My mommie was not looking for a Doxie. Actually she was on her way to the movies, but decided to stop at the local pet shop and as she calls it "molest" the puppies, which means my mommy pets them and hugs them and feels their warm bodies against her face and whatnot. They are so soft and warm she likes to stop by often (sometimes she wonders if the sales people thinks she weird), but she just like animals.
My mommie likes what she calls "baby sized" dogs. Anyway, there I was the only puppy with no other puppies with me! I looked so dignified and was so quiet, mommie asked to take me to the playpen. Now mind you mommie was not going to adopt me. She was just going to get some puppy luv and be on her way.
Well this lady saw me and asked the saleslady how much is that one. Well my mommie hugged me to her chest and thought to herself (over my dead...) anyway, mommie never made it to the movies that day. Daddy came home and there I was sleeping in the bed. I am daddy's favorite. Right now I am with him in the finished basement watching TV, begging for a treat, or maybe snoozing. I had a good week, too. I have been sleeping in the bed with mommy and daddy. At night I just look cute and next thing I know, I am sleeping in bed with my ducky and teddy bear. Also, yesterday, mommy sat in the daddy chair. I like to climb on her shoulder and sit on it, put my paws on the back of the chair, and take a snooze. Mommy leans her face in my warm fur and takes a nap too. Right now I am begging. I have stared at mommy so long that I am sleepy and kinda swaying....Frankie
It was my birthday last week. I've turned 7 years old. The years are starting to pile on. I've got some gray whiskers! I had a cake and some candles, but I only got to lick some of the icing.
I have allergies so I am on a restricted diet. No more table food for me. I get itchy patches on me. Daddy takes care of me though because I am quite precious. He walks me several times a day. When he goes out I wait patiently and jump at every sound hoping its him.
I wait because when he comes home he takes be out for walkies. I come back hot and tired but very happy, then I take a nap on the back of he couch.
