Arrival Story: We found Bailey on the internet via Petfinder.com. Two years after our 17 year old cocker spaniel died, we were searching for a special dog to join our family. Bailey was rescued by Hedgesville Hounds after being dumped on a West Virginia golf course with 2 other dogs. He spent time with a foster family before finding his way to our home and hearts.
Bio: Bailey adjusted quickly to his new life. He enjoys cuddling and lots of attention. He loves to have his belly rubbed. He also loves to play fetch outside in his new yard. He came to us with PERFECT house manners. However, we had to teach him to find his voice. He now will bark on command and when appropriate - such as telling us its playtime or someone is at the door. The gratefulness and love in his eyes makes our hearts melt. We are the lucky ones to have such a sweet, good, fun, and loving dog.

Fun Facts: When I'm very happy, I wag my tail in a circle. My tongue has black spots and my coat has black stripes which can be seen when I sport a short haircut. My body is long and my legs are short and stocky with big feet. I can jump high for a vertically challenged dog.
