 Birthday: June 1st 2005
Likes: Tennis balls, laying on the couch (indoor or outdoor), being cuddled, and bully runs through the house.

Pet-Peeves: Hoses, Shovels, Peeing in the Rain, Yankee fans

Favorite Toy: Her Kong Frisbee and Tennis Balls

Favorite Food: She loves all food, but of course it's my mom's meatballs

Favorite Walk: She loves to "hop" down the street with her frisbee in her mouth. She also loves running back and forth with the frisbee in her mouth while we toss the football.

Best Tricks: I almost cried the first time she went to the door to go outside and potty, so that was a good trick. She also knows her left paw from her right paw.

Arrival Story: Cookie is a tiny (30 pounds) white mini bull terrier. She was rescued from a very abusive situation and turned over to BTCA rescue in New York. She had a broken leg, possibly from being hit by a car or being kicked, and was never taken for vet care. She was seriously ill due to lack of food and we didn't know if she would survive. She was stained yellow from eliminanting in her crate and smelled horrible. Even though she was that sick, she still had the sweetest temperment and when she looked at you, she was irresistible. Now she is a beautiful little bully girl, who's smart and eager to learn. She's been potty trained, crate trained, and has even learned a few tricks. One rear leg doesn't bend, so she hops when she walks. It sticks out when she's resting earning her the nickname "kickstand."

Forums Motto: Kickstand

Mom and Dad took me to have tests done to see if there was a way to plug up my leak. After all kinds of tests, all the bad stuff was ruled out. My kidneys and my ureter are fine, I just have a weak bladder.
How did they fix me, you ask? Get this, I got collagen shots in my bladder. They pumped me up with the same stuff they use on the lips in Hollywood!!! Pretty cool, huh?
Now I don't leave a puddle when I cuddle!!! I'm sooooo happy.

It's official, I'm home!!! I knew this was where I was meant to be, but it took my foster mom and dad a while to realize my coming to them was fate. It was hard to find the right home for me because of my injury and my medical problems. I met some really nice people, but I can't go up and down stairs by myself and I have my leaky problem so finding the right home for me was tough.
Mom looked at me one day, I had my bally and was wagging my tail, giving her the look only I can give and she realized that I was very happy and relaxed for the first time in my life. She knew she couldn't disrupt my home life again and they decided this is home for me. I trust and love them so much....... They don't mind carrying me upstairs and they have even talked to a doctor about having surgery to maybe help me with my leaky problem.
So here I will stay, here I will be loved for the little angel mom says I am...
