Arrival Story: Kissy was the first puppy of Kiwi's first litter. She was born in my bedroom and has slept there ever since. She has always been the sweetest girl, and spent the majority of her life along side her Mom.
When we lost Kiwi it was devestaing, not only to our family, but also to Kissy. Luckily Rafiki came to save us all!

Bio: Kissy is a CGC and TDI. AT 14 years old she is still quite capable and agile, routinely scaling a four foot fence to sleep in the garden away from the other rowdy dogs in the household. She is a sweet loving girl, heart of my hearts, and a living link for us all to her Mom Kiwi.

Just yesterday, it seems, Kissy was born in my bedroom. Much loved pup that was dedicated to her Mom Kiwi. She spent 14 years dedicated first to being a charming and loving daughter, and then to being the carecaker of Kiwi as her sight failed and she
faded in strength. Kiwi had her ears washed every day, and Kissy would guide her around the house and on our walks making sure that she was always at her side.
When Kiwi died Kissy had a terrible time with the loss. The only thing that cured her sadness was Rafiki. Kissy spent 3 1/2 years training "her pup" as he was constantly at her side, playing, loving, and sometimes annoying. But always loved and clean as Kissy continued her role as ear inspector.
Kissy died suddenly, adding to our sorrow. She will be greatly missed and always loved and remembered.
How can so many years have passed by so quickly, how can my beautiful, vital girl change into such a sweet endearing old lady, and then be gone in what seems like an instant?
I am grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the family here on Dogster, only sorry it has taken such a sad event to draw me back into the community.
