I think in about 1995 which was Pepper was about almost 2 yrs old and I was about 11 or 12 yrs old. Anyway...

my school is residential thats where kids stay at dorm since the kids live far away from home. My school is special program for deaf kids with education. Anyway, I was day student. I never like to stay dorm... One night my school had special event and my mama wanted me to stay dorm cuz it's about 20 mins to drive to school from home. I decided to stay dorm for one night. When I spend the night at school and I was ready to go home. Next day I told mama that Im ready to go to home.

my mama is working at deaf school for many years.. anyway.. I told her that I'm ready to go to home. she said well, I need to tell you something before we get home. I said why?? She said just wait. dont get upset, ok?

On the way to home from school, I kept worried about what mama said. I asked mama, please tell me... she said okay, dont cry, ok? Pepper is fine.. Okay?

Pepper digged the ground under the fence and got away.. He ran to the road and the truck saw him run. Lucky he already brake before too late. But He did hit pepper.. Pepper was black out when the truck hit him. My step father saw it and ran to see if pepper was okay... The driver did stop and said Im sorry Im sorry. its my fault! my step father said no dont worry. They rub Pepper to get him to wake up... in few mins later, pepper finally woke up and got scared and got up and ran back to the fence.

The driver was happy that he didnt ran over Pepper and kept apologized about it.

step father took pepper to the vet to check up and the vet wanted to keep him for 24 hours and he had bad bruise and little bit crack on his back and hips.

After 24 hours later, I was at school, I was really looking forward to get home to see Pepper. When I got home, I finally saw Pepper! I hug him many time!

I was so happy that he didnt kill by hit truck.
