Arrival Story:
We were looking for a puppy and the breeder that was recommended to us had all of her puppies spoken for well in advance. But she had kept a puppy for breeding, who turned out to be too small to become pregnant, so Bev called me back and asked if we would consider a year old chi instead of being on the wait list for a puppy. At first we were reluctant but after a lot of thinking about the pro's and con's ( more pro's !! ) we decided to go and see Bella and it was love at first sight ! This turned out to be the luckiest day of our lives, she is such a little sweetheart !

Bio:
Bellabella only weighs 3 lbs 8 ozs but apparently see's herself as the size of an Irish wolfhound ! When someone rings the door bell she will run to the door barking and barks so profusely that she often knocks herself over ! Update...Bella was diagnosed with MegaEsophgus in Nov/11 after many years of being treated for chronic gastritis....she now has to wear a procollar all the time to prevent aspiration, her meals have to be pureed and she sits in a Bailey chair for meals plus 1/2 hour post meal to allow gravity to help food move thru the esophagus into the stomach....she is an angel...doesn't fight us at all with her treatments and many medications....
