Winnie was not the dog I had in mind when looking for a new puppy. I pictured a little white fluffy dog in my mind. When I saw her for the first time, with her whimsical, shiny little long body, and take me home eyes, it was love at first sight. My husband and I bonded with her right away. She always made us laugh, an continues to charm us, even on those glum days. She has always been sociable with other dogs. She will give other dogs a slight nudge with the side of her face to begin playing. She is now four years old and continues to amuse us and befriend anyone who comes into our house. We have read many books and articles about Dachsund dogs. She is the most beautiful Dachshund we've ever seen. She is our precious, playful and faithful dog.
