Arrival Story:
Donnie has lived most of his life at a shelter. He was rescued from a high kill shelter by a wonderful lady who took him to her no kill shelter on 08/27/2006. He was well loved and cared for and they all became very attached to him, but they still wanted him to have a furever home. Though we weren't looking for a dog, I saw him on their website and fell in love. I visited the shelter very shortly after that. Donnie has a couple of issues that make people shy away from him. He has chronic dry eyes that will require eye drops the rest of his life and he has a bit of a temperment problem with new people. I can tell you that he is worth the effort to get to know! He is a loving little guy who loves to run and play. He misses those who love him at the shelter, but we are trying to ease that for him.
