Arrival Story:
We went to Second Chance Ranch (same place Primo came from) to talk to Katie about a second dog. Penny had been rescued only days earlier from the Muckleshoot reservation where she had been abused by kids there and had just given birth to a litter of puppies that had been shot and drowned by the kids. Despite all of this, she had the sweetest, forgiving personality. She just wanted to be loved and was willing to try with people again despite her experiences. She was also horribly malnourished. But once we brought her home she gained weight and shed her fear of people (but not of items shaped like guns) and now is a happy dog who adores playing, cuddling and her prized fluffy dog bed.

Bio:
Penny is the laziest dog ever. After such a hard start to life, she prefers love over any other activity. Primo taught her everything she knows, he even potty trained her. She adores Primo and likes his face and gives him kisses every morning. Her goal in life is to sleep in his dog bed with him.
