Arrival Story:
Our family moved from Nevada to Oregon in July "07 and even in a new house and state all we could think about was having a family dog again. We were lucky enough to have my sister nearby with her puppy to play with and come visit but it wasn't the same. After a few weeks of settling in it was time to start thinking about a new family member again. My husband and i have both grown up with american pitbulls and we absolutely love the breed, so one day while running some errands i decided to "secretly" look at some puppies (if you ever want to keep a secret, never take your four year old with). Well, our youngest Eric spilled the beans to dad that there were some puppies, and that was it.

Bio:
Boomer got his name the first day he was home because while checking out the backyard and playing with his soon to be best doggie friend, he never walked, he jumped and bounded. He didn't run, he just looked like he was pouncing, like a cat would. We joked that he was booming around the back yard.
