He doesnt like when you stare at him, I think he thinks your challenging him in which he dont like it.

He doesnt play much, hes kinda a loner, but when he does get in the mood, he likes playing tug-of-war with his sister Roxy

Vegas is a picky eater. When we first brought him in, he was petrified of a canteloupe, lol I dont know why.

Favorite Walk:
Around the block, we dont go far with his hip dysplasia and still the tear in his right knee

Best Tricks:
Doing the Veggy Straddle. If you are laying down, he gets up ontop of you with all fours around you straddling ya and wont let you up.

Arrival Story:
The people around the corner moved out and left Vegas for dead in the back yard, yes in the NV desert heat. When we rescued him he was about 1 1/2 yrs old and he kept nipping us real hard, we all had bruises all over us. I am figuring thats why he was left behind, they didnt teach him right from wrong and then when he got bigger and the play nipping started to hurt, they didnt want him anymore. Well it took a little bit of time, but we turned all those bites into kisses and he is a very very good boy. I thank god we found him when we did. The story behind his nickname Chippie Chomper: Well chomper because of all the biting he used to do and chippie after the Chippendales because when you rub Vegas' side near his tummy, he rolls his eyes back in his head and throws his head back like it feels so good, but he looks like hes posing for a porno picture, lol. So we came up with Chippie Chomper

Bio:
In 2003 Vegas started limping and xrays showed a tear in his right knee and hip dysplasia in his left hip so we take it easy with him and hope we can wait to do any kind of major surgery till down the road. 10/2007 Update: Vegas started limping on his left leg, a tear in his left knee. He had TPLO surgery and recovered wonderfully.
