Rocky loves playing with the sprinklers and he loves to eat. He loves when I sing funny songs to him and when I kiss his nose.

He doesnt like when I wont let him rip the sprinklers out of the ground, Im gonna buy stock at Lowes the money I spend on sprinklers, LOL

He loves teenie beanie babies, will nibble like flea bite on them right before he goes to sleep like its a safety blanket

Rocky loves cherries, meat, toast with jelly, green beans, cereal, ice cream cones, fruit, chinese food take-out and animal crackers from Petco

Best Tricks:
He gives you his paw and high fives. Rocky is the Air I breathe, this dog has the most unique personality in the world. Thats all I have to do is look at him and he knows what I am saying.
Arrival Story:
In 2003 Rocky blew out his right knee, we had TPLO surgery putting a plate in his knee and in 2004 Rocky blew out his left knee in which a plate was put in that knee, so we have had a rough few years, not doing as much as we would like, but still happy. Rocky is ok and doing better now, but still stiff in the joints. He loves going for walks.
Bio:
I adopted Rocky when he was 3 1/2 months old, his litter was confiscated on a drug raid and found in a dark wet basement. When we got him, his nails were all white and infected from the damp basement, he was so loaded with mites all his fur was falling out.. AND he never had puppy breath, he had such a foul odor in his mouth that was coming up from his stomach because he was so sick.. It took us months and months and lots of money to get Rocky healthy. I love Rocky with all my heart.

Well a little over a month has gone by since putting Rocky down and I have to say I have never missed anything or anyone more then I miss my boy. Does it ever get better, I have lost 6 of my fur babies to illnesses in the last year and a half and even though I do miss them all, Rocky has been the hardest. I always used to say Rocky was the air I breath, I feel like a part of me is gone with him not here. Rocky was the heart of this house, I still have Vegas and Snowball and its been hard watching them grieve and miss him so much. I would give anything to kiss Rocky on his little nose one more time, smile.

Rocky has been struggling with the arthritis. My mom called me on her lunch yesterday when she came to let the pups out that Rocky couldnt walk. I brought him to the vets, he gave me pain pills for Rocky. Rocky had a tough night, couldnt even lift his head without whimpering. I took him today and had him put to rest, he isnt suffering anymore. I will miss him more then anything in this world. He will always be my boy.

Well we finished all Rocky's shots for the osteoarthritis. He was just the most precious baby allowing me to give him the shots. He still gimps a little here and there, but it does seem like there is improvement since the shots. All we can do is keep an eye on him, take one day at a time, cross fingers and paws and see what happens. We want to thank everyone who has said a prayer for Rocky and/or sent us good thoughts.
