Arrival Story:
It seems like yesterday, yet so long ago. One day, I was living with my old family, and they took me for a ride in the car. Now, mind you, I thought everything was going along just swimmingly, however, my old family, well, they must have had very bad memories, because they let me out at this atrocious place called a "gas station" and forgot to put me back in the car! They just left me standing there! The nerve! Well, I was pretty upset about the whole ordeal - I mean, there was dirt there! I wandered around the place - it was busy, but none of the other two-legged beings seemed to notice me! Well, luckily for me, Mother and Father saw me after they had stopped, and, well, Mother was s worried I would get hurt, so she called out to me, and I ran across the parking lot and lept into her arms. She tried and tried to find my old family, but I guess they didn't want to be found - the Canine Physician used the term "dumped", whatever that means.
Oh well. I have a pretty cushy life now. And, frankly, I'm glad Mother and Father found me and gave me a new home!
