Arrival Story:
After almost 30 years with only cats (4) my husband said I could get a pup and we got Miggy in March at 10 weeks old. In Sept. I told Charlie I needed a little doggie for Miggy to play with and to be a sort of lap dog for me. I was looking for another beagle but also for a less active breed as well since I am not able to get around so much and I'm about to have a new knee in Jan. I was looking at breeders online and also at the rescue sites. One day I saw her pic on a rescue site and I thought she looked kind of wretched. I showed her picture to Charlie and said we could foster her and see how it went. They brought her to my house and Miggy went crazy for her. She was only 6lbs and the lady was almost afraid to leave her because he was so excited. He weighs 30 lbs but she just loved him. The lady agreed to let her stay 1 night. We both fell in love with her and when the rescue called and said somebody wanted to adopt her we rushed down to adopt her ourselves. She is Miggy's best friend and they play, sleep and go for walks together every day. They play rough but we've never seen a mark on her. She has gained 5lbs since we got her and we don't expect her to get much bigger.

Bio:
With the help of our vet we figured out that Zoe is a Chiterrpug. Chihuahua, Jack Russel and Pug. We think she's about as cute as they come and pound for pound she's as strong as Miggy. And plenty tough too. She can outwalk us all and be looking for more and fierce about protecting us. But she loves to meet other dogs and cats and doesn't seem to fear anything. All in all she's just what the doctor ordered. We love her to pieces!

Happy Birthday to me!

When Mom first saw my picture on the computer she figured I didn't have a shot if she didn't go get me. Funny the lady at the shelter thought I was so delicate I couldn't survive with a Beagle. But Mom talked her into trying it out and look at me now! Everyone said I would be a tiny runt. Guess I showed them. I can chase and wrestle all day with Miggy till I wear him out! He's a great brother and I really love him but he gets mad at me when I race him to the door when somebody comes. He barks really loud at me but it doesn't bother me at all. Yup, I am so thankful that Mom and Dad adopted me cause we have a great family. We have 4 kitties that we play with and 8 grand kids that come see us. So life is good. Wow! they got me a new toy chicken for my birthday so I gotta go!
