Well, what a busy week we have had. Cooking turkey for two Thanksgiving dinners, practicing agility now that the snow is gone, and going to the car club auction. I am sooooooo tired today. Just having a lazy day.

Life of an agility dog

Since January, mom and I have been training for the agility circuit. We practice at home every day and train one day a week at "the Farm", it's really called Fido's Farm and is located in lacey Washington. It takes us an hour to get there, but the time is worth it. I love our trainers: Corinne, Maggie and Mai. We have learned so much, mom has been a little slower at learning than I am, but she is older! I have lots of good dog friends there, too.

We entered a USDAA trial in July at Argus Ranch in Auburn Washington. Boy, was I nervous. We did okay and mom was thrilled that we even finished any of our runs.

In August we spent 3 days at an agility skills camp at Argus Ranch. Mom and I learned so much. Each day we spent 3 hours in a class, then lunch and then 3 more hours in a different class. We worked really hard. The great thing was that we were grouped with other dogs that jumped our same jump height.
What a great time- the time went fast and I wish it had lasted longer.

Well, off to bed early, tomorrow we go to "the farm".
I just love running the courses and doing jump work. Yipee!!!!
