Sleeping and sniffing outside our sliding glass door. Before she was blind, she loved balls..she would drop them down the steps and we'd throw them back and repeat. She liked small spaces.

mean people and violence; having no one to pet her; thunder--before she was deaf, she would stand between the couch and table, facing the wall...I guess that was "protection"

She left me a little before 2pm C. God it was so hard. I hate death. I hate it. I feel like a murderer, like she should have a say. I'm sorry Roxy. I love you sweetie.

End of the road

My beautiful 16 yr old girl is close to Rainbow Bridge. She eats very little; she does drink. She was diagnosed with a bowel obstruction b/c of or due to cancer; she has congenital heart failure, so her lungs have water in them. We are giving her a "water pill" to help drain the water she is retaining. She lays down all day and usually pees while laying down.
She is on her soft mattress with towels to catch any urine so we can pick them up and give her new towels. We're also using a plunger to get some chicken broth in her. She won't eat anything else. She licked a doggie ice cream somewhat. She can almost hold her head up.
Please pray for my baby girl. We were going to put her down on the 27th but decided to wait and see if the water pill can help her. She has no muscle tone and feels emaciated. I cannot tell if she is in pain b/c she is resting all day, with lots of pets and hugs.

This is not regarding my dog but my neighbor's. Thing is the neighbor doesn't really care about the dog and WE do so I am trying to look for her. She went missing near the end of March 2009. I already gave the dogs'info to the cops and such.
She is a Golden Retreiever, 7 years old, a bit chubby, light colored, no tags, possibly no collar, very friendly. Her name is Babe. The owner often lets her loose w/no tags and this time she didn't come back.
Here is a link to a lost dog poster I made: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j84/DMasek/BabeLostDogAdEM AIL.jpg

I'm in the sw suburbs of Chicago. She was lost in my city, Lisle. Please email me if you've seen her.
