Arrival Story: Jonathon came to me after the loss of my beloved missy. She was a labrador/doberman mix, and she was my shadow. I had this huge empty hole in my heart, but Jonathon found a place deep in my heart, and we are inseperable. He was the balm that healed my wound, and I would not give him up for all the tea in china. he does not replace missy, but he makes life richer then ever.

Hello every dogie. This is angel Jonathon writing from the rainbow bridge. Four weeks ago, while I was outside I hurt myself. Mommy took me to my vet, and the vet said that I may have had a torn acl. I took medicine for two weeks but my leg did not get better. Over time my leg began to swell, I had quit eating and drinking, and was laying around the house listless. Mommy checked on me often but on Sunday Feb. the 28Th my gums got very pale. Mommy couldn't take me to my regular vet because they were closed on Sunday so she took me to Dr. Joyce at Shively Animal Hospital. I was taken in and checked over thoroughly. When the x rays came back, It was discovered that I had bone cancer and the leg had broken at the tumor's site. With the anemia it was felt that the cancer had spread into the bone marrow. Mom and Dad were told that there was nothing that could be done, and I was in so much pain. So being in my momma's arms, I was helped to cross over the rainbow bridge. Momma is so heartbroken right now. Please keep her and my daddy in your thoughts and prayers. My loss had been more than momma could bear.
