WOOF IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME!

WOOF It's been a long time since my last entry....well ALOT has happened. They never found my sister Madden, and sadly Mommy deleted her profile from Dogster this morning. She says it's just too hard to look at anymore, and so it's time to move on. It's been eight months since my little sister decided to leave us. We will never forget her, and will always miss her, but we have to go on with our lives.
Well Mommy finally had this baby she kept telling me about, and let me tell you she's cute...but she gets so much attention. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me I can't sit in her lap like I could theirs, they won't let me chew her toys, and I can't come running and flying upon the couch anymore. Why not? I LOVE flying!!! Get a good running start and whoosh all four paws up in the air, and you are flying!!!! The couch is(was) a great place to land! Now I am sent to go lay on my pillow by the couch....that's not as fun!!! Ah well...guess as soon as this baby learns to walk I'll be able to herd her around the yard!!!!!!

My life as an only dog

Well it's been a month since my sister Madden did her disappearing act from the backyard. Since then Mom and Dad have not let me out of their sight! I get in the house more often now! I miss my sister, but I do love all the attention I have been getting! And I get my very own Christmas stocking all to myself! Mommy is telling me that I will be getting a new human sister this Spring. She says she is expecting a baby, and that I will have to share her attention when the baby arrives. I really don't know what to think of this new baby thing yet? I guess we'll see when she gets here!

My sister the brat terror.....

My mom and dad have been OBSESSED with my sister... she's a manchester terrier/ rat terrier mix, aka "brat terror" in my books....she broke her toe and had to have surgery on it. She's been in the house all week, while I am stuck outside, because mom is afraid I 'll step on the brat's stupid broken toe. Mom promised that this weekend we are going to have time together, and I get to come back in the house around the brat! OK so I do miss getting to play with her....I'll admit it....but, still it isn't fair for HER to get all the attention. Ah well now I get to make fun of her and call her three toes!!!! HAHAHA!!!!

Madden Strikes Again

Well my sister Madden is the center of Mom and Dad's attention this weekend. All because they came home and found she had dug out of our yard into the neighbor's yard. It was about 1:30 in the morning, and Daddy had to go rescue her from the other side of the yard. Here I am, waiting at the gate to see them when they got home, and she's the one hogging all the attention. When they get her inside they found a tear on her stomach, and SO now she is getting all the attention, and I don't even get to play with her or nothing, because Mommy is too afraid of the tear getting bad. I just know Madden did all that on purpose to get all that attention. I know how she thinks she is some glamour dog, but I know the truth. I know what she is really up to. Making them fuss and fret over her, and not me. What do I get? Stuck outside. I'll have my day as the center of attention, you just watch and see!

Mommy and Me and our Snuggly Moment

This morning was so much fun.....Mommy woke up at 3:00AM and couldn't go back to sleep, so she came in to see me. There I was laying all nice and cozy in my kennel, lost in my own doggy thoughts when I look up and there is Mommy....She opened the side door to my kennel, sat in the floor and began loving on me...I had to headbutt her because I loved it so much. I turned over on my tummy and got to be scratched and snuggled all at the same time. I don't usually sit still long enough to have snuggly moments, but it was so great laying in her lap and getting my belly scratched. Mommy has been sick this week, so I guess I had to be good for a whole 10 minutes for her.

Hello

It's me Stryder, giving you an update on my life. My sister Madden is so busy redecorating the inside of the house by taking down the curtains, I thought I would help making the outside of the house look good too! I am currently helping Daddy out by chewing off all the old siding and boards that needs to be replaced anyways. House could sure use a new paint job, where I can't chew off, I just help by scraping the paint off with my teeth. I even helped by tearing out a screen I think needs to be replaced! Mommy and Daddy don't even appreciate all the hardwork and effort that I have taken to helping them out! Kids never get the appreciation they truly deserve. I overheard Mommy saying something about having my teeth removed, now how am I suppose to help out with no teeth? Parents are weird, I'll never understand why they don't appreciate my hard work.

Little boy into a big man

Mommy says she is so proud of me....don't know why? She keeps saying her little man is growing up...all just because I think it is SO cool to lift my leg while going potty....Mommies are weird, I will never understand what she finds "cute" about that....I am 9 months old, who is she calling cute? Ah well, as long as I get a BBQ bone for breakfast she can call me "adorable" for all I care, just not in public though....geez how embarrassing....of course, I have heard her mention that if I ever started "marking" that she would get me neutered...what does "marking" and "neutered" mean? Either way guess I better not so it won't happen!

My day out in the house

I had so much fun on Monday....I spent the day out of my crate...not gonna tell anyone how I got out either.....I found some great new toys, and got to go into fun places and do fun things that Mommy and Daddy don't normally let me do....It was great a full day of nonstop chewing on all the fun toys that Mom and Dad have around the house....You should have seen the look on Mommy's face when she came in and saw the fun I had while she was gone! I think she was mad at me, because she didn't talk to me at all the rest of the night....ah well, I hope I get to do that again!!!!! Mommy said something about being put permanently outside if I did though!!!???

Stryder's First Entry

Well today my adopted sister Madden was taken to the vet to get what you humans called fixed. Daddy took our cousin the ferret (or as we like to call him the chew toy) to school with him, Mommy and Daddy call him Pippin. This is my first time ever home by myself without anyone else home! If they would let me out of this kennel during the day, could you imagine all the stuff I could chew on while they were gone>? I could finally find out how that huge piece of wood in the living room (called a coffee table) tastes like! Well I look forward to Mommy and Daddy coming home so I can be with them.
