Arrival Story:
We were at a local flea market here in Houston called Trader's Village. There are a lot of breeders that come out and set up to sale their puppies. This one particular breeder we had been talking to for several years, finding out about her puppies. That particular weekend, she had one of her best litters for half price. There were two puppies left, one male and one female. I brought my husband over and wanted the female, but he insisted on the male. Needless to say, Stryder went home that day with us.
Bio:
Stryder has been with us since the age of 6 1/2 weeks old. He is the complete light of our life, and he will remain with us for the rest of his life. This is one dog who will never know what it means to want for love, a family or food. He is and will forever be an Arthur family member.

Stryder,
You are our first baby. We took you in as a pup of 6 1/2 weeks of age. You are now a young man of 2 1/2. In the past two and a half years we have watched you grow from that pup into a proud member of our family. You are the best dog we have ever owned. We have never met a dog smarter, more loyal, or as beautiful as you are our sweet little boy. We look forward to the years we have together in this life, and the joy you will bring the newest member of our family, our new baby girl, Kaitlyn. Just imagining the days ahead of you out romping and playing with her in the back yard, keeping her safe from all that may want to harm her, and herding her around as your instinct kicks in. You will be her protector, and for that my dear boy you have our heart, our love and devotion forever. You are now and will forever be an Arthur. No one can or ever will change that. We will love and protect you as you do the same for us. You have blessed our lives in more ways then you'll ever know.

WOOF It's been a long time since my last entry....well ALOT has happened. They never found my sister Madden, and sadly Mommy deleted her profile from Dogster this morning. She says it's just too hard to look at anymore, and so it's time to move on. It's been eight months since my little sister decided to leave us. We will never forget her, and will always miss her, but we have to go on with our lives.
Well Mommy finally had this baby she kept telling me about, and let me tell you she's cute...but she gets so much attention. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me I can't sit in her lap like I could theirs, they won't let me chew her toys, and I can't come running and flying upon the couch anymore. Why not? I LOVE flying!!! Get a good running start and whoosh all four paws up in the air, and you are flying!!!! The couch is(was) a great place to land! Now I am sent to go lay on my pillow by the couch....that's not as fun!!! Ah well...guess as soon as this baby learns to walk I'll be able to herd her around the yard!!!!!!

Well it's been a month since my sister Madden did her disappearing act from the backyard. Since then Mom and Dad have not let me out of their sight! I get in the house more often now! I miss my sister, but I do love all the attention I have been getting! And I get my very own Christmas stocking all to myself! Mommy is telling me that I will be getting a new human sister this Spring. She says she is expecting a baby, and that I will have to share her attention when the baby arrives. I really don't know what to think of this new baby thing yet? I guess we'll see when she gets here!
