Big Papa went missing a couple of days ago. We searched around the neighborhood at night....in the rain. I had people from our other shelter checking their records afterhours for his description. No luck there. Thankfully, a good samaritan turned him in at the local shelter in the morning. We arranged for a transfer and he was brought back to Baldwin Park. Now he's safe in the backyard. In a little bit of trouble, but we're just glad he's ok. How did he get out? He must have used his 100lb body to push the chain link fence in just enough to get through the tiniest of openings. Even my other two, very agile and sneaky huskies, could not get through. Phew. We're soo lucky! Things could have turned out worse!
