Arrival Story:
When my Mommy knew that she was not going to be working for a while she thought that having a new puppy would help her through this time in her life. She searched far and wide for the perfect Lab puppy. She found me! The day that she came to get me was a rather hot day in July. I was in a crate in the back of her station wagon and I cried all the way home. Luckily we did not have too far to go. When I got to my new home I was very happy. I was rather hot so looked around for a cool spot. When Mommy opened up the refridgerator I climbed right up on in. Ever since then Mommy was sure to see to it that I did not get too hot and she would give me ice cubes to lick and chew.

Dog of the Day on Suffolk County Unleashed

Well I finally made it to the big time. I am dog of the day on the Suffolk County Unleashed website in the running for best Christmas picture! Mom sent a link to everyone on her mailing list so they could vote for me. Honestly, I just think it is an honor to be Dog of the Day. I am just a simple dog, living a simple life. I don't require much, unlike my furbro PIPPIN. He just thinks he is so in the BIG TIME! No just kiddin, he is a good little pup even though he kinda bosses me around. But I do not have one mean bone in my body so wouldn't even think of taking a little piece out of him! I do have a nice simple life. I wish I had a little bit more to eat, but I do need to watch my weight. I sleep when I want and Mom takes me for long walks and Daddy is soooo silly. He plays with me like he is a dog! There is nothing better than that!
