It's Sweet to be Sophie

I got in truubbble today! Momma is sooooo mad at me!

But it's not my fault! Ooh no no no, it surely isn't! Diva told me it was ok to dig a hole under the fence and go explore the neighborhood while mommy was at work! I believed my big sister-pup...she would never steer me wrong! I'm so sorry I made you come home from work, mommy! I'm sooooo sorry that I made you get all upset and cry cause you love me so much and you were soooo scared!!! I won't do it no no no no more!

I found a Forever Home!!

The day started off pretty normal...woke up with my fellow doggie rescuees, had some grub, played around...but then for some reason, I was taken from my kennel into a room where I met my new mommy and daddy! I was SO SURPRISED and EXCITED!! They took me on a ride in their car and mommy held me and petted me the whole way home. Then the real fun began! Mommy took me in the front door and my three new brothers-human and my new sister-human were waiting! Mommy said I was a surprise, but I think that they were MY surprise! Boy, I don't know what I did, but they sure did like it! I got kisses and pats and hugs...and my tail was wagging so hard my whole body was wigglin' around! I love it here!!! I scarfed down a big bowl of puppy chow and went in the backyard to sniff things out when all of the sudden I got my biggest surprise of all!!! Another Basset...just like me!!! Turns out, she's my new sister-pup and her name is Diva! Boy ol' Boy! What a terriffic day! I love my new home, my new mommy and daddy (Diva says they're called mom-slave and dad-slave), my new brothers and sister-human and most of all my sister-pup Diva! I'm the happiest pup in all the world!!!! and I think they like me a little too!! Gotta run...I'm going on a walk and meet all my new friends!!!
