I, the chooser, have chosen
to pour out my life on you.
I shall fill the air with the music of my voice,
every room with my presence,
the vacuum with copious amounts of hair,
and your lap with warmth and adoration.

To you I give an oath
that no tear you shed shall go unnoticed,
no sigh ignored, or fear unchased.
For you - are for me
all the colors of the rainbow,
my sunshine, and my days dawn with you.

As long as I am able to amble,
I will go anywhere with you
and do anything you desire.
I will FRAP until you can no longer laugh,
perfect the “soulful eyes”
and make sure there is no part of your face unlicked.

If you let me I will be your clown, guide and muse.
I will bring you a smile every day,
a cuddle to warm each night,
and maybe even your slippers.
As long as you care,
I’ll never leave your side.

You are my master, companion, friend and love.
No matter how many are strewn through the house;
You are my favorite toy.
Your voice is my favorite sound,
And until my last breath,
I will be true to you as none other.
