Eating, sitting on a lap, licking freshly showered feet, licking baby's face, when we come home, snuggling

Stuffed Toy Doggie, Puppy Kong only if a treat is inside, squeaky ones

Arrival Story:
Mama was sad after not being able to have a human baby. She had just moved to Seattle into her first home. Since she always longed for a dog, but was never allowed due to being an apartment dweller, she decided to search for the perfect furbaby. No shelter or rescue would let her have a pooch b/c she had no doggie experience and no fully fenced backyard. Mama said her furbaby would be an indoor dog, but these rescues in Seattle take their job very seriously which is great. So Mama was sad and resorted to craigslist where she found a woman trying to sell off Min Pin/Shih-Tzu mixes. Mama had just gotten out of the hospital due to ruptured cysts from fertility drugs, but she had to go take a look at the litter. Aunty Sarah drove us down south to Pacific and Mama fell in love with Kona. There was one other gal available, but she wasn't interested in Mama. Kona kept coming up to Mama to lick her. The home was shall we say, a bit of a dump and though Kona was just 7 weeks. Mama took her home that day. She had already stopped nursing. And thus began Kona's charmed life in Seattle. Poor Kona had fleas too. Papa was not too thrilled that Mama made the doggy decision without him, but he fell in love with Kona in his own way.
