My Barkday!!

Well, I am now three years old and what a wild three years it has been. I have been going to school since I was four months old and I have been competeing in agility for almost 1 1/2 years. No grass grows under my feet, my Mom keeps me busy all the time. What fun I have playing with Mom. I cant wait to open all my presents and dig into the yummy cake Mom got for me. I hope I have many more barkdays...I love life!!!

Whoo Hoo!!!!! We Q'd In Snooker!!!!!

This weekend was alot of fun!! We had 6 out of 8 Q's, not too bad!! The best part of the whole weekend was our Snooker run. My Mom has trouble thinking on her feet, so Snooker is a very BIG challenge for her. We actually Q'd and took first. We even made it to the seventh obstacle......wow!!! Two more of those and we can finally get out of level 3!!!

Mama's Barkday!!

Well, Saturday was my Mama's Barkday. We decided to just have a fun day!! So, me & my sisfur, Bella, went with Mom to a pumpkin festival! We had fun there. We climbed up bales of straw, we had hotdogs to eat and everyone made a big fuss over us because we were so cute!! Then to top it of, Mom stopped at the park on the way home so we could play a little bit more!! We went home & had some yummy birthday cake....love that icing!!

Our USDAA trial

Well, Sunday we tried our hand for the second time at USDAA. My first was Gamblers. I did great in the opening and was almost thru my gamble when that stinking whistle blew! My Mom cheered for me cause it was a tuff one & I did get it done even if it was a little over time.BOL!! My next try was Standard and lets just say, oops!! It was fun though and next was Jumpers, my favorite!! I rocked hard in this one. Mom & I flew thru a very wicked course with pinwheels & serps . When the dust settled, I missed time by 2 seconds. Mom felt bad for me, but I didnt care. We whooped & hollered and had some real good liver treats to celebrate!! Mom said that I did my very best and she was real proud of me.

Gonna try it again

Well, Mom just broke it to me that our competition this weekend is another USDAA. Yikes....no wonder she has been making me chase her around the back yard with her screaming "go faster. go faster". BOL, my little legs can go just so fast!! But I will give her the old shih poo try and see if we can make course time and bring home some Q's. Now, I have to go rest up for this weekend!!!

My first USDAA

Well, we gave it a try. There were about a thousand border collies, a thousand shelties and a handfull of JRT's and one shih poo! It was a hot day, so my Mum tried to keep me cool. Our first run was Standard. I blew by the weaves and had to redo them and I kinda sniffed the table for awile before I went down...so we were under time. Mom was kinda bummed, because she thought maybe we Q'd. Oh well, my next was jumpers. It was a nasty little course, but we nailed it pretty good and was under time by 10 seconds. We were happy with that. The neatest thing was that Linda Mecklinberg was at the trial with her 2 BC's. It was fun to watch her run...alot of very fast dogs were there. Yikes!! Mum says we will try it again in October.

I finally did it!!

Saturday, August 8, 2009, will live in my Mom's memory. That is the day we finally Q'd in Snooker. Mom thought that maybe the third time was a charm and it was!!! Could be years before we get another one...BOL!!!!!!

How I body slammed the AFrame & scared everyone!!

What a weekend it was in Washingtonville. I was up for the big CPE competition. My first run was fantastic. I never ran that fast before....woo hoo!! My next run was my standard run. We needed a Q to get to Level 3. I was doing great until that darn AFrame. I was going too fast and my feet just didnt get onto the AFrame. I hit it with my chest. My Mom heard the thud and she heard the gasps from the crowd, but she couldnt see what happened. I am a true agility dog, I tried again and went right up & over. Mom was sure glad to see me!! We finished and got our Q. The Judge was very concerned. He came over to Mom after the run and told her how hard I hit my chest. I am one tuff little shih poo!!! I finished out the day with 2 more Q's and went back Sunday to take home 3 more Q's!!!!!!!!

Sippo Lake

OMD, what a fun day ! My good friend, Murphy, who is a golden retriever came over to play with me and my sister, Belle. We went to Sippo Lake to have some fun. We hiked down a long trail, lots of good smells and critters running around. Then the best part....we got to go swimming in the lake!!! What fun!! My fursis, Belle, wasnt too cracked up about it, but me & Murphy had a big time. We shook off good and were almost completely dry by the time we had to go home. That way Mom didnt have wet stinky dogs in her pupmobile!!!

Wanna play football!

essage!! My good friend Mulligan passed it to me, so here goes.......1. I cannot go outside or come back in without a toy in my mouth. 2. I cannto pass by my fur sis and fur bros without biting them or irritating them in some way. 3. I go to work with my Mom every day and put in 40 hours. 4. I like to zoom around the house at least 3 times a day. 5. I love to push snow with my nose!! Okay, now I am going to pass the ball to Bella, Buddy, Wiggles, Bonzi, and Bounder. Thanks, Mulligan!!!
