Peanut butter and Fetch!

Today was a fun day. I went with Daddy to his work as usual, but Daddy is going to have a new job soon. He's not sure if I get to go with him, but I hope I do 'cause I love spending time with him. Everybody says he spoils me, but I don't mind. After work we went to get Daddy a new cell phone and then went home.

Right when we were walking in I saw Grandpa and Auntie and I was really excited to see them. Daddy always tells me I need to calm down when I see people but I can't help it sometimes. When we got inside the house, Daddy let me out of my travel bag and I went to give Grandpa and Auntie some lovin'. I had to take a break though and go do my business. Daddy made me this nifty grass box that's outside on the patio and after some practice, I'm now used to going in and out through my doggy door.

When I came back inside it was playtime. Auntie fed me lots of chicken after I showed her all the tricks I can do. I showed her how I can shake, lay down, roll over, give high fives, pound it and dance. We have fun together.

Grandpa wanted to play next so we played tug-of-war with that nice blue rope toy he bought for me. After playing tug for a little bit, Auntie wanted to see me fetch. I'm still working on getting that entire trick down but for the most part I have it. I'll go get whatever it is you throw and bring it back, but I still have a hard time letting go of it. At first only Grandpa and I were playing fetch but Auntie wanted to join in on the fun so I showed her how I know how to share and let her play too. Soon Grandpa and Auntie were taking turns throwing that yummy little squirrel down the hall and I was bringing it back to them. Then Daddy came back outside so I thought he might want to play too. They all kept telling me what a good girl I am. After awhile I got really tired and so did Grandpa. Fetch is a lot of work! We were both tired so we just rested until they had to leave.

Okay, I had a really long day so I'm going to go curl up on my comfy pillow or on the sofa and get some sleep. More later!

The Start Of Things Fun

My mommy and daddy got me in August in Petaluma. I was the last of my litter and mommy had seen me first. Daddy had to wait until the day he picked me up but, mommy totally wanted to me right off the bat. So, mommy and daddy came and picked me up on a Saturday and drove me all the way home.

It was scary. I didn't know where I was going and had no idea what was going on. I ended up pooping all over my brand new crate cuz I was so scared. But, we got home and it was cool! I had all this space, new carpet to do my business on and plenty of food. I was skeptical at first, but I figured oh well, they are going to give me food, so I should be ok. I slept fine, but, couldn't control myself that night and had to do my business in my crate. Yuck!

Everyone kept telling me how cute I was and how much of a good girl I am. It was fun. OK, I need to go take a nap now, I am tired from running around daddy's office this morning. More later.
