Arrival Story:
Ellie was abandoned for two weeks by her young, dumb owner. She luckily had water. A friend of mine brought her home but wasn't able to take her in so I volunteered. She gets along wonderfully with all the other animals including the cats. She loves the kids! Her and Gracie are best friends. Ellie depends greatly on Gracie for security and comfort. She is a big baby!

Bio:
We have had Ellie for about 7 months now and she is maturing nicely. Her puppy habits have disappeared. She badly wants to hunt but our squirrels are too smart and quick. She acts as our Chinese Cresteds lounge chair which is really sweet. Her attitude is so laid back. Nothing much bothers her anymore. She doesn't like thunder storms. Her leash manners have been maintained well. She gets a little excited at first but once she gets the initial burst of energy out she walks very nicely. Her favorite things are chew bones and sunning. Her and Gracie are still bonded but she doesn't depend on Gracie as much as she use to. She is very smart. Would probably be a great frisbee dog.
