Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-purebred-deaf -dog rescue

Birthday:
July 12th 1995

Likes:
Sleeping in his own soft bed and table scraps

Pet-Peeves:
anything bigger than he is and anything BLACK

Favorite Food:
anything we are eating. The other dogs rarely get people food, but that is apparently all he was given before his past owner died so we are trying to switch him over to actual dog food.

Favorite Walk:
he loves to walk anywhere we take him but are careful to keep him away from the black dogs in the neighborhood.

Best Tricks:
he is an expert at melting heartsa and getting spoiled. He deserves it.

Arrival Story:
Jack and his son, Papi, were found in their old home with their elderly owner several days after she had passed away. They had had no food/water for quite a while and were in bad shape. It is apparent that even before they woman passed away they had not been reveiving the best care. Jack is quite senile, had cancer because his testicles had never dropped (!), has horribly dry skin, a bad infection in his nose wrinkle, and needed a dentle. Jack's son is still in fostercare because he attacks other dogs/cats and needs some behaviorial work. Jack sometimes gets confused and attacks things only he can see, and we have to be careful he knows its us when we wear black pants. His son was black and apparently terrorized him so now is scared of most black things. Even with all this, we feel very lucky to have been chosen to adopt this grandpa peke. *update* Jack passed away in his sleep and is now an angel chasing away pesky black dogs in heaven.

Bio:
Jack is getting more and more relaxed each day he stays with us. He was in bad condition when we got him, but is now perking up, in body and spirit. We hope he will be with us for a very long time. Unfortunately, Jack was only with us for 4 months but he will be always loved.
