Arrival Story:
My family has had Pulik (the plural of Puli) all my life. Marley is the first one I had myself though. The breeder of his litter color coded the pups with ribbons so she could tell them apart. Marley was the yellow pup. I was originally supposed to get the purple puppy. But Marley's breeder asked me to consider him because I was an experienced Puli owner and Marley had "special needs." Marley is very lucky to have landed in my home as not many owners would have been prepared to handle him!

Bio:
My dear Marley passed on February 22, 2008 at the age of 15 (and almost two months!) He was a valiant soul to his last day. He was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphosarcoma in mid-December and at the time the vet specialist gave him 4 weeks. In true fashion, Marley pushed the boundaries, and I can say he truly enjoyed the next two months. We lavished him with love and treats and special meals and made every effort to ensure his comfort. Finally, he told us when he was ready to go. Though he always had tiny feet, he leaves big shoes for any dog who may come after him. We miss him more than can be expressed.
