Arrival Story:
I started to look for another doberman to replace my older doberman that has to be put to sleep...I looked at doberman rescues first and they wouldn't let me adopt because I had young children and I also had miniture pinschers. While I was talking about how the rescue wouldn't allow me to have a doberman becuase of those reasons. That is when I found Joy or I should say she found me. She had purbred doberman puppies due from 2 females. So I bought one and sadly he had passed away. Instead of getting a refund I waited for her next litter...I wanted a red male but sadly I didn't get one but I did get a beautiful red female instead.

Mommy got me when she was pregnant for my baby human brother. I love him so much he is my best friend when he is around I calm right down and I'm a good girl. I know he is a little thing and I don't want to hurt my best friend...I want to make sure he will play ball with me and play tag (woof woof I know I will win but I'll have fun chasing after him). Breeze was one in a million I could not have asked for a better dog. She helped me in a lot of ways but most of all she was my oldest daughters life saver. We realized as a puppy Breeze had a special gift she would react to anyone with Diabetes she could tell if you was going low or if you was high. She would lick you to alert you. She saved my daughter's life many of times by alerting her to her sugars.

So we have been missing in action for awhile around here. Well mom has gotten so busy in life that she can't find time to let us on here to type lately.

Mom now runs a rescue but not for dogs (which we all thought it would be). She runs a rescue for Chinchillas. They are cute little animals. She is also looking into buying a store (where she gets her chinchilla supplies). So things have been busy around the house lately. But she has found time for mommy and me time. I get to go for an hour walk every night with her which I love and she has been loving too. She keeps telling me I have saved her life in more ways then she can count. I don't know what she means by that but oh well I'll keep doing what I do best love her like she loves me.

I have now taken two obedance classes and graduated top of the class (big smiles for me) I'm going to take the last class in Aug. then mommy is going to work on getting me my CGC and also work at getting me to be a reg. tharapy dog. So between the chinchillas and working with me mommy is supper busy and also taking care of 3 human kids :)

I'm hoping to get out here more but with as busy as mommy gets I just wait until she has time. Until then I'll enjoy my walks with her everyday rain or shine.
