Arrival Story: After Dino died, we wanted a pal for Angus. There I saw her on Petfinder just as sweet as can be!! We went to adoptin day where the nice lady promised not to adopt her out until we got there (we had first dibbs). Anyways, when I saw her I couldn't believe what bad shape she was in. She had been abused, neglected, was emaciated and left on the streets to die in the middle of winter. Thank God some nice soul called Animal Control which is where the rescue got her. From the second I saw her I knew that she was in need of much love!! She was spayed the next week and I picked her up from the vet. We learned she was blind in one eye and had a severe case of an upper respritory infection and very thin. Well we got her home and the first thing I did after seeing her new digs and getting some food, was put her in my bed for rest. My dear husband slept on the couch for the first 4 days she was home so she could sleep with me. She got better but then 2 months later we learned she was far more sick than we imagined. She had Perianal Fistulus which means she can't have a bowel movement. She was in terrible pain so we decided to end her pain. She was the sweetest dog I've ever known and she'll always be remembered. Along with my Bridge Boyz she has a windchime at Angel Rest at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
