Hey, I'm a fun guy. So, I don't like cats....oh well! What good are cats anyway? Who needs them? I know I don't! I like other dogs, and people, and kids. I like to run and play. I like to go for walks. So, I don't like cats. Is that a big deal? Not to me. So, all you cat-haters out there....please get my back, man!

my kennel mate got adopted yesterday. Faith, honey, I hope you have a good life, and I'm gonna miss you so much! You were the best roommate. You shared your blankets and your toys, and didn't poop and pee all over the place. You were the best. I don't know what I'm gonna do now. I don't really like anyone else here. Maybe Lucia, but I'm not sure. I want a home, is what i really want. Ya know, I think I've been here almost a year. Wow...that's a long time. Maybe I belong here....I don't know. It's not that bad, but I hear that if you get adopted, that you get to go for walks almost every day, and sometimes get to sleep in a bed...I'm looking forward to that.

Hi there, I'm Jackson...I'm a pretty cool looking dog. I have two different colored eyes. My right eye is blue and my left is brown. I think I look funny, but people tell my I’m gorgeous, My fur is very thick, like an Akita. I have multiple layers of fur, in several beautiful ranges of colors. I have yellow, and black and brown. I’m a pretty good dog. I get excited like any dog would, when people come to the shelter. I hate being behind this gate, and having everyone walk past me and say, “oh look at this dog’s eyes”…and then just keep on walking. Oh that just makes me mad. Then I bark and growl and snarl at them. I’m just blowing off steam, really. If they would just take a minute or two, and have one of the volunteers take me out of the cage, I’d be so lovable and cute, you wouldn’t believe I’m the same dog that looked like I wanted to rip your face off from behind the gate. Really, trust me…give me a chance. I can be a lap dog if you want me to be, and just lounge around all day and watch TV. I can also spend a lot of time outdoors with you, playing in the snow, or hiking. I have this really warm coat, ya know. So, anyway, I’m here…come see me, or call. I go to White Oak dog park sometimes, so I can even meet you there if you want.

Oh, speaking of cool, there is this new website called www.zootoo.com and you can sign up and earn points for your favorite animal shelter to win a really cool new shelter. The Pet Adoption League, in Yukon, PA, which is where I live, isn’t a very nice place. It’s alright, and they keep it pretty clean, but everything is so old. The guy there, Tom, is constantly repairing old doors and windows, and drain pipes. We would love to have a brand new shelter. I hope I don’t have to stay here too much longer, but I do have a lot of really good friends here, and I’d like to see them get a cool new Crib.
