Arrival Story:
I have had Lilly for a little over one year. It has been the greatest year of my life! A former coworker of mine announced that she had to get rid of a boxer hound mix she had just adopted a few months back. She suddenly realized she didn't have enough time for her and basically didn't want her anymore. I have always wanted a dog but always hesitated because I live alone and assumed I wouldn't be home enough to care for a dog. Well I saw Lilly and knew that she was meant to be my "dogger"! I feel as if Lilly has been a part of my life forever, and I don't know what I ever did before I had her! Every day she is incredibly happy to see me. It's like she truly knows what it means to live life to the fullest! She is the greatest !!
Bio:
The shelter where she was adopted from said that she is a boxer hound mix. Since then, Lilly and I have gone to obedience school and to several vets...everyone has a different opinion as to what breeds she is made up of. Her coloring is exactly that of a boxer, but her snout is much longer. Sometimes I think she has pit bull in her, sometimes lab, sometimes pug! She could be anything. One thing that is for sure is that there will never be another dog just like her!
