Doing ALL his tricks at once for food. And The Big Eyed Silent Beg, which he is in the process of trademarking.
Arrival Story:
Louie was adopted today by Jack's grandma and grandpa! Louie is a seven month old mix and was adopted from the same shelter as Jack. (Clearly, they have the cutest dogs EVAH!)
Louie's profile will be updated soon with more information about him as we all get to know him.
So far, he's a very sweet, very playful young pup.
Fellow dogsters should feel free to email me with ideas of what he might be.....his face looks very beaglesque to me, but his shelter info says lab shepherd mix. It is anyone's guess, but he's mighty CUTE!
Bio:
There is a very, very sweet dog underneath Hurricane Louie. He can be a bit much at times, but seeing him calm down and be super sweet makes it all worthwhile. Lou's favorite things are his Big Brother Jack and his family.
But, mostly, chicken. He loves his food. He gets the crazy eyes for his food. :)
He's also really good at sitting and down and stay and will do all his tricks at once if he thinks food is involved.
He also does a cute bunny hop run with all his legs boing-ing in the air at the same time a'la Pepe Le Pew!

Hey you guys! Today is Louie Happy Happy Day! That's my birthday. That means cake. And fun. And Happy Happy Things!
I'm so Happy! I'm happy for cake!!
I'm happy for lizards in my backyard! I'm happy for cake!
I'm happy I was 'dopted into a great family and that I have the best big (but littler) brother in the whole word! He's so much fun and he has my back, even when another dog gives me a side eye. And happy for cake!
I'm also happy I have so many great pals on Dogster to celebrate with! So come on, let's all be HAPPY HAPPY together today!

Dear World,
LOUIE. AM. SO. EXCITED.
I saw my picture on DOTD today (thank you thank you thank you thank you, oh thank you!) and now I can't stop running and jumping and barking and howling and running and jumping and running. And running.
And.....pant pant....I'm tired now. Louie need cookies.
I really want to jump up on something and bark a lot, now. I need to find Jack so I can jump on his head.
Also, I want all my doggie friends from Dogster to come over for a big party (make that happen, mom) and have pup cakes and ice cream and we can pop balloons and run, and jump and bark and I can wear my DOTD crown. There's a crown for Louie, right?
There must be a crown. And cookies??

Thank you guys for the nice birthday wishes! I had a pretty lazy day. Jack and I will probably go and party this weekend. It's more fun to party on a Saturday night than a weekday, so we're saving up our energy. Plus, it's like having TWO birthdays.
I kinda wish I was born on Leap Day. Mostly cuz I like to leap. A LOT. But also because that would be like having Bridgadoon Birthday. It comes out of the mist, like every 20 years or something. Or five. But I'd totally celebrate the day before AND the day after every other normal year. Hence, CAKE TWICE.
