I love Maine!

My new home

Hello there! My name is Zeke and folks say I am a Boxer mix. Mixed with what they are not quite sure. I was a rescue dog and came to Maine from a shelter in Arkansas to find my forever family. When they brought me to the shelter I was quite underweight and very anxious to find a home and people to love.
I have been in Maine for three weeks and the rumors are true! People in Maine treat their dogs like family! I love my new family and especially love my new big sister Halle. (Check out our picture on the dog bed together.) She is a Rhodesian mix who loves to play as much as I do! My first week here was filled with all kind of adventures. I had not spent much time inside so there were some scary new things. I wasn't quite sure how to use those stair things but now I'm a pro and can even skip the last couple if I'm chasing Halle down them! I've finally made friends with the vacuum cleaner and dishwasher and don't need to hide anymore when they go on. I love sleeping in the dog bed with Halle, but my VERY favorite place is Mom and Dad's big bed. Strange, they are talking about getting a bigger one now, but this one seems fine when you are in the middle of it!
