My doggie life so far

I Meet my Dad

I was born in Sun River, Oregon on December 14, 2002. I enjoyed my life with my brothers and sisters for about 8 weeks. I loved my mommy and all my friends. I played a lot and loved to run and wrestle with the other puppies. But after a while my family started disapearing, one by one. I did not know what to think. One day, they told me that I had a new life in Washington. That seemed scary.

So my breeder put me in the back of a pick-up truck and drove me north for 4 hours. It was windy and cold and noisy and I got lonely. After a while, my travel kennel was opened and I saw a human. He picked me up and hugged me. He said I was the most pretty doggy that he had ever seen! I am a girl, so I liked that. He hugged me and kissed me and told me that I had a whole new life with him.

The first thing that we did was go on a big ferry boat over the water to an island! I had never seen such a big water before. My dad introduced me to my new grandma, and I liked her right away. I got to run around a house all by myself and then got to run in the grass! That was new to me. I liked my new freedom. Yippeee!

After a while, we got back on the boat and went to an even bigger house. It was all MINE!! But there were cats there. Hmmmm. Cats. I think they are my mortal enemy. I will think of what to do about them.

I like my new life so far. I have my own food dish and don't need to fight for food or water, and I have a big yard to run in and I have a doggie door so I can go in and out any time. I have CATS to chase. And I have my new Dad. He is nice to me and I love him. We do lots of things together. My favorite so far is running on the beach and digging for clams. I also like to roll over rocks and chase the crabs that run away. I have to watch out though, because they hurt my nose!
