Arrival Story:
Gandalf's family was preparing to move and couldn't keep him or the foxhound they had. We hadn't planned on getting another dog, but after talking to them, we knew it was right. They are wonderful people and wanted to be sure Gandalf was going to the right people, so they were glad to know we already had a Pyr and understood the breed. We arranged to meet, along with Bella and her best friend, a Pyrenees named Abbey. We met at a local dog park and all agreed it was the right choice for everyone. He and Bella have bonded quickly and our son and Gandy are inseperable.

Gandalf was bred to be a farm dog, but didn't work out for whatever reason. When his people we got him from found him, he was being kept in a barn in unsanitary conditions and was malnourished. They took him in and did an amazing job, as he is well mannered, very healthy and has a beautiful coat.
