Happy Ending

Life can go from being normal one minute and the next can be turned upside down so fast that you don't know what hit you! The love of my life, Tinkerbelle, had a medical emergency. I was so worried as was everyone I know. Due to a situation beyond her control my Tinkie was not able to get to the Vet!!!By all of us rallying together in our Pommie and Pawty groups, we got Tinkie to the Vet. By the power of faith, prayer and medical intervention everything worked out and Tink is now good. I don't know what I would have done had things turned out differently and what her family would have done. I just thank God we didn't have to go down that path.....

My babypommiesister has arrived

Yesterday I knew that something was up. Mom was in a frenzy vacuuming, cleaning and making the house pretty. Then she takes off with the littlest crate I have ever seen in my life waving as she goes..Time goes by and she is back. She comes inside the house with the crate again but now there is something inside. What could it be?? Looking closely I do believe that I see a baby BADGER in there. Did Mom go to the zoo, I just don't understand. Then Mom calls me to her and says "Pippin I would like to introduce you to your new babypommiesister"! Oh no I think to myself, it really happened. I stroll on by the crate and this little pipsqueak of an animal has her tail wagging and a big smile on her face. Mom opens the crate and out it comes, right at me! Moment of truth has arrived. I just hold my head up high and pretend to ignore her. Mom is all, "Oh how cute, look!" I look at Mom and go straight to bed! I ventured out a couple times through the evening as I am curious. I also need to protect my stash. I have a lot of time and energy invested in all of those lovely toys of mine! Finally I just can't take it anymore. I need to know what type of stuff she is made of. I jump on Shamus's big throne bed and begin the game of King of the Mountain. She is up for the challenge! Sparring back and forth, she's not backing down! I know if I growl that will probably do it, but I don't, I control myself. Then she grabs my favorite toy, MY CHIPMUNK!! She gets up on the throne and lays down right next to me. Not afraid, not intimidated but very self assurred in her position. But sweet and cute as well. Hummmmm now I don't know what to think. Luckily Mom steps in an announces that its bedtime because I think that I had enough of her for one day. The jury is still out for now......
