Taking The World By Breezy

My First Birthday Without My Mom.

My birthday came and went this year. It didn't seem like my birthday without my fur mom. She has been gone a little over a month and I deeply miss her. Mom tried to make it special for me. I had special treats and a great dinner. But we were missing one place and that was for my mom Rosie. I haven't even been able to go up the hill to where she is buried because the ground is to wet and today there was too much snow. It's been five years since I was born. Time has gone by fast. I'm still tiny like a pup but older. I guess life goes on but there is still a hole in my heart. Tonight it seems I remembered that we were missing one of us. I cried and whined all over the house again. Some humans think we don't remember but I do. Tonight I missed my mommy. I know she was with me in spirit. But I wanted her here in the flesh. That would of been my birthday wish......... Breezy

It's Been A Long Hot Summer

This summer has seemed to drag on. It's been so hot that we have only been able to play outside in the evenings. I feel like a vampire, only coming out at night. I sure hope fall gets here soon. Warm days, cooler nights, walks by the lake, fall colors and the smell of change. I'm so ready!

My Dad has been gone for 4 months now. He's in the military and had to leave for 6 months. He'll be home when it's fall. I'm looking forward to that. You see I'm a Daddys girl. I'm the only one of us that is. I miss him so much.

Summer please end quickly and lets get my Dad home.

My Dip In The Pool!

I thought would write about my dip in the pool. First off it wasn't my idea of a good time. You see my Mom, she likes to take pictures. I've never been in a pool and I do not think I ever want to go back into one. I'm not a Lab, like uncle Nicholas. He likes the water. There are water dogs and then there is ME. I'm not and never will be a water dog. No matter how my Mom would like me to be. I'm a Princess and like to have my feet dry. I even hate getting a bath. So What Was She Thinking? She took me out and before I knew it I was thrown into the icy cold water. You can see how happy I was in my pictures. I stood there while she shot lots of pictures of me and then I made my way to the side of the pool. She picked me up and took me inside, dripping mind you, and put me into the sink. I couldn't figure out why she would do that. I just had a bath in the pool!!!! What is the thing she has about water. I thought I was finished after getting out of the pool. I ended up all soaped up and rinsed. I do smell really good now. My hair is so soft and really blonde. I guess that was not so bad. I just won't let her know. I kept my distance all day long. Today I decided that I would stay as far away from that pool as I could get So much for fun in the sun. Until next time. ~Summer*Breeze~
