Arrival Story:
Long story. I work at a vet clinic (which has been the beginning of all my stories so far) andTyson was brought in on my day off very sick. The owners couldn't afford to treat him so they said they were just going to take him up north and let him die. Well, the next day my coworker told me about it, and despite the fact that we were just about to move into a house and I really wanted to get a boxer, I called up his people and said I'd try to make him better. So, $500, a blood transfusion, a week being on IV fluids, steriods and antibiotics later I have a "free" and healthy, dog. I even had to sell my french horn to pay for him, but he was well worth it. He's probably the cutest, most loving dog I have ever known.

My BF (who has also been in each of these so far) wasn't all too excited that I was going to be getting a dog when we moved into our house. Especially since I was told no animals period and yet we had two cats, two rats and two guinea pigs (I don't listen very well). So I was a little nervous bringing home this sick dog that was going to cost a lot of money to fix but Tony and Tyson took one look at each other and fell in love. Ty still loves him more than me, even though I saved his brown behind, but it's okay. **Tyson wants to remind you to spay or neuter your pet. There are 6000+ pets put down EVERY DAY in the US. No need to be adding to the surplus population!**

Hi all! Wanted to vent a little about my Mommy and her idea of "helping" animals, min pins specifically. She has decided to be a min pin foster, this means I'm not the only little dog around. I am not okay with this idea, I'm the Min Pin, it's me who gets to be on the couch and sleep in the bed under the covers and poop in the living room and eat out of the kitty box. Now I have to share all these things with strangers. Mommy says that this way more minni pins can get good forever homes and not have to stay in a shelter or humane society while they wait. I won't want them to have to stay in one of those scary sounding places, but I definitely don't want them in MY bed either. Oh well, at least they don't stick around for too long. The one who's here now, Rocky, he's a naughty little monker and barely gets in any trouble. I mean, he and I got into the trash together but still, he got off way easier than I did, just cause he has a tail I think. But Mom says there was someone interested in him so maybe he'll go away and I can start blaming all the bad things on Caly again. Well, I'm off to bed. It's been so cold in the house lately, cause Mom loves the fall and likes it chilly. I say thats no good for min pins, but at least I have lots of covers on the bed to keep myself warm. Bark at you later! ~Tyson

Hi everybody! It's been a LONG time since I wrote last. Mom's been a computer hog all winter, looking up stupid stuff on ebay. She always buys stuff for the horse and never any goodies for me! Anyway, I finally sneeked on. I've been good. Christmas was fun, got a lot of new toys. Most of them are dead already cause Caly likes to kill them as fast as she can. I'm so happy spring is coming. A few weeks ago it was 50 and I had the best time bein out in the sun sunnin myself. I love summer and spring, when I can just sit out for hours in the sun and be warm. Nothing too excitin's been goin on I just thought I'd pop on and say hi. Gotta go, Moms gotta check some stupid horse thing on ebay again. Bark at ya later! ~Tyty

This is Tyson, and my Mom is MAD! She just saw an add for mix breed puppies/ dogs selling for $700 and up! Who in their right mind pays that much for a mutt when they can go to the humane society and pay far less and help save an animals life? You humans are absolutely ridiculous. Not you specifically (if you happen to be reading this) but you on the whole. However this was not the original point of this entry.
I ate onions last night. That is one of the worst things a dog can eat. Thankfully I didn't eat very many so I don't have to go the emergency clinic. I will just have to go in tomorrow and get some blood draw. Mom says she's gonna spress my anal glams too. I hate that. But today I have to be force fed water every hour cause that's what Mommys friend vet told her to do to flush my system. Mommy wants you all to know if your pet eats onions to call your vet immediately and more than likely bring them right in. The only reason I don't have to go right in is Mommy is a vet tech and can do the things that happen at the clinic at home with me. Lucky duck I am, I hate getting forced to drink. Its not fun. But apparently I have to have it done again. I'll write tomorrow and let you know how things go with my blood results. Until then, Happy Turkey Day!! And eat some for me, since I'm not getting any good treats today, just dumb water.... Bark at ya later! ~TyTy
