Arrival Story:
We were in town, and decided to visit a local animal rescue, and fell in love with little Shadow. Even being of Japanese descent, I'd never seen a dog like her in Japan. She was very shy and scared, but once let out of her kennel, she immediately climbed on my lap, and although shaking, settled down after a half hour or so. We took her home, and after several weeks of getting her socialized, she became a big part of our family.
