Arrival Story:
After calling the pound for 2 weeks they finally had shepherd mix in, packed the kids up and hi tailed it down, he was also the runt of the litter, but was very sickly, skin disorder,chronic ear infections, was pushed away by the other siblings, had to have him! He also had a aggression problem but we worked it out. He bit our youngest son once right above the eye and left a scar, I had a tlk with him yes I acturally spoke to him looking him straight in the eye and told him that if he did that again he would be a outside dog. And guess he didn't like that idea he never bit again unless there was a reason.
Once when the kids were younger we forgot to put the food away to take the kids trick o treating we just told him not to touch it, and guess what when we got home it was still there. such a good boy.
Bio:
Did not realize we'd spend over 10k within 3 weeks of adopting him, but it was well worth it! I would tell him time for bath and he would go into the bathroom and sit in the tub and wait, when time to clip nails he would sit and give me his paw and when I was done with one he'd give me the other paw, and when I was done with the front he would lay down for me to do the back paws and mind you he had not one but two extra dew claws on each hind leg.
This baby has traveled from Hawaii/Nebraska/Florida since we were in the military.
