Likes:
If it has anything to do with food, I love it. Eating it, sniffing it, watching mom cook it...I also like to snuggle on her lap, and use dad's belly as a launchpad to leap off the sofa. And of course, visits from my favorite aunt Jo!

Pet-Peeves:
Not being able to eat whatever I want. I also hate the vaccuum, people at the door (especially the gentlemen from UPS), baths, and the rain.

Favorite Toy:
My leopard print ball that's got a tail attached to it.

Favorite Food:
Favorite? Why, I love everything...well, everything but lettuce and hot sauce.

Favorite Walk:
To the park across the street.

Best Tricks:
Lay, rollover, high-five, high-ten, balance on my hind legs, leave-it (don't like it much, 'cos it always involves a treat).

Arrival Story:
My dad looked in the paper for a pug, 'cos he wanted to surprise my mom at Christmas. He drove down to get me, not knowing that I was half Boston. The moment I saw him, I crept right on over and crawled onto his feet. He picked me up, rubbed my belly and it was game over. He didn't stand a chance. As for mom...I don't wanna toot my own horn, but she fell in love with me the moment our eyes met. Kinda corny, I know, but the rest they say is history.

Bio:
Oliver's got the spunkiness of the Pug and the laid back personality of the Boston Terrier. He was the runt of the litter-- had kennel cough-- suffered from allergies along with skin and ear infections. For the first three years of his life, we were regular fixtures at the vet's office. He's getting along now, due to a change in his diet. For most of my life, I wasn't much of an animal person. But, Ollie changed all that. He opened my eyes to the wonderful world of animals, big and small...and for that, I'm truly grateful.

A Shout-Out for my bestest Pug friend!

One of my best friends is Gidget. I met her here at Dogster, and I must say, she's not only out-of-this-world adorable, but soooooo witty! I get to call her Gidaboo, which is her nickname, and so fitting for her unique personality. She's the most beautiful pug to have ever pugged...that's what I always say, and my mom certainly agrees with me. Well, this week, Gidaboo informed me of some fantastic news, she just welcomed a new foster brother into her family. If I know Giddy, she was none too happy about it at first, but now, they're becoming the best of friends. So here's to you, Gidaboo, a most precious pug, who is not only one of my bestest friends, but fast becoming the bestest foster sister!

Bones...yum!

Dad brought home a couple of T-Bone steaks for dinner...well not for *my* dinner. But I got to chomp on the bones after mom and dad were through. Plus, I even got a little taste of mashed potatoes for being good whilst they ate, ha! Mom's got me on this raw diet, so all I eat is raw meat, bones, a little brown rice, beans and various veggies. Sounds very strange, but I LOVE IT. Of course, it doesn't end there. Mom goes a little bonkers, adding vitamins, flax seeds, calcium and other goodies to my meals every single day. She swears by coconut oil-- says it makes my skin and coat look really nice. I overheard them talking the other night and "apparently" I don't shed as much and I smell good now...why I never! But I must admit, when everything's said and done, I indeed feel and look so much better. Thanks, mom! Heehee!!!

*Cough, Cough, Cough...*

I've been coughing a bit as of late. Mom's super paranoid when it comes to my health...if I so much as sneeze funny, she's on the phone with the vet's office. Well, we visited our vet today and he prescribed some cough medicine. But I may have a pulmonary condition or an elongated soft palate, whatever that is, heehee. I really hope it's just bronchitis or a cold, because the thought of having to see the vet again?! I'd rather go a day without treats...on second thought...
