Easter is in the air..I can smell it! Ok, so maybe that’s just the eggs Mom is boiling. I can’t wait to hunt eggs on Easter and I know that the Easter Bunny thinks I’ve been a perfect angel this year so my basket should be full of all the things a little girl needs, ribbons, bows, bones and treats!

Daddy and I have already talked Mommy into letting us hunt for eggs Sunday morning (I even got new bows to dress up a bit) and Daddy has explained that if I find the golden egg I get an EXTRA SPEICAL treat. I hope it’s that shopping spree to Petco or maybe a fun day at the doggy spa.

It's been a long road...

Well my Mom finally did it...she had me made into an IT! Daddy and I begged and looked cute (although I'm much much better at it than he is) but she went ahead and did it anyway. Mommie says that I'm still a little girl but I heard Daddy call me an it so I think she might be fibbing.

If that wasn't bad enough I caught something called ringworm from a really cool dog I met in Austin, he was really neat I don't know why Mom uses those bad words now when she talks about him. The ringworm doesn't hurt me at all but I think maybe it hurts parents more than little girls cause Mommie keeps saying "I'm going to kill myself before this is over" every night when she gives me a bath in this smelly shampoo and green stuff. I really don't like the baths but I don't complain much cause I don't want everyone to worry about me. On the bright side though every time I get a bath or some cream put on my boo boo's I get lots of treats so I think I might try to see if I can catch this stuff again...but don't tell my Mom I think she might get mad if I do.

I miss playing with all my friends, cause Mom won't let me go to any play dates or have my hair done right now so I've been spending a lot of time looking at other puppies here on Dogster with my Mommie. So many cute little girls and boys that I got a little worried, but Mom cuddled me and whispered in my ear that I'm still the cutest baby girl in the whole wide world. I know all Mommies say that, but it sure does make me feel special.

OWIE!!!

Today started off like most Fridays...I woke Mommy up all excited that it was my day to go and visit my Miss Melissa, she is one of my favorite people in the world. Miss Melissa gives me a bath and brushes my teeth every Friday morning, she even lets me wear big girl perfume. I like Beautifur the best of all! But today when we went in to Doctor Schmurr's office where Miss Lissa works I heard the dreaded word...SHOT! I tried all my tricks, I looked cute, I cried (which works a lot of the time) but today nobody would listen they put me on that cold steel table and did horrible things to me...after that they pulled out a BIG needle (although Mommy told me it really wasn't THAT big) and poked me! I must have looked like I needed a hug cause I got cuddled and a lot of treats after that. So I guess it wasn't all bad. I thought the worst was over with when my Mommy came to pick me up then I heard her and Doctor Schmurr talking about something called a Ovariohysterectomy. I'm not sure what that is but I don't think it sounds fun at all. I don't care what Mommy and the Doc say I don't want it done!
